Mount Falcon Country House re-opened in 2006 as a de luxe, 4 star family-run Hotel. Guests enjoy luxurious accommodation with leisure and corporate facilities, access to the best golfing in the West, and the Estate’s unique offering - access to the most prolific Salmon River in Ireland, the River Moy.

The Hotel comprises of 32 bedrooms which includes 2 suites and 4 de luxe rooms that are located on the upper floor of the original house. They are truly unique and enjoy all the original features of this historic home - including 15 foot high ceilings, original marble fireplaces, servant bell ringers, cornices, pitch-pine floor boards & shutters. Most of the en- suites provide free-standing cast iron baths and luxurious marble top vanity units. These stately rooms have been carefully and lovingly restored to their original beauty, but at the same time, offer all the luxury and services one would expect staying in a 4 star de luxe country house.
An additional 26 superior rooms make up the full compliment of 32 bedrooms in the Hotel. They are spacious, all with super
king beds ,custom-designed free standing furniture, generous en-suites - each which include large showers & baths and again double marble vanity units.
They are tastefully furnished with soft and tranquil colours, ensuring a calming and relaxing atmosphere for guests, whether on a weekend break from city life, or having come from abroad, wishing to experience the West of Ireland lifestyle.
For guests who are looking for more flexibility during their visit to the West, the Hotel offers luxury 3 and 4 bedroomed self- catering suites, nestled around three idyllic locations on the Estate - The Woodlands, The Lakeside & The Courtyard. All bedrooms are doubles and the majority are en-suite. Guests have full use of the leisure facilities in the Hotel including the swimming pool and leisure centre.
The 'Kitchen' Restaurant spans across the original kitchen and pantry in the main house where guests enjoy first-class, fresh, locally produced, quality food in a friendly and intimate environment.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor, easily accessed from the main hotel foyer. The total seating area can accommodate 72 diners, with tables nestled around the original nooks and crannies of the original kitchen and pantry.
The large windows offer striking views of the beautiful trees on the Estate - especially dramatic when lit up at night.
The restaurant caters for small groups, private parties, office outings, christenings, birthdays - whatever the occasion, the service team will ensure that every element of your dining experience will be memorable.
The adjoining dining room caters for any private dining requirements guests may have. Bar Menus are available, with food served in the bar and lounge areas. An extensive wine list, accommodating all tastes and budgets, has been carefully compiled for our guests.
All the reception rooms at Mount Falcon have a comfortable and welcoming feel about them. These rooms are an ideal haven to relax and enjoy our afternoon tea.
The 'Boathole Bar', accessed off the main foyer, is located in one of the original "entertaining rooms" in the house, restored
to highlight all the original features, and perfect for enjoying a quiet drink while taking in the beautiful views across the lawns of the Estate.
The Bar, and the surrounding corridors, are adorned with memorabilia relating to the original construction and furnishing of the house, making them very interesting areas to peruse, and perfect for visitors to learn about the colourful history of the house over the years.
